Dr. Saman Gunawardana
GENERAL PRACTITIONER (MBBS FRACGP)
Dr. Sam is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
He obtained his medical degree in Sri Lanka in 1998.
He has extensive clinical experience both in Hospital and General Practice settings.He has worked in General Surgery Internal Medicine, Transfusion Medicine, Rural and remote Health and Urological surgery in the hospital setting.
He has research interests in Urology and has publications for his name.
Dr. Sam brings in a wealth of General Practice experience spanning over 22 years. He has worked in the rural Northern Territory of Australia and also in Metropolitan Melbourne. His special interests are Chronic disease, Paediatrics, Urology, Skin Cancer, Minor surgery and Men’s health. He has a very friendly and approachable disposition.

Dr. Saumya Jayasekara
GENERAL PRACTITIONER (MBBS FRACGP)
Dr Saumya Jayasekera completed her Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the Medical Faculty, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 1992. After gaining her medical degree, she had her initial training in Sri Lanka.
She continued her professional development and completed a Doctor of Science in Medicine (Paediatrics) from the Post Graduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo, in 2002. She worked as a general practitioner before moving to Victoria, Australia, in 2004.
She commenced her Australian medical career at Monash Medical Centre in Victoria and then worked in various hospitals in Victoria. She moved to general Practice in 2013 in Lynbrook and has been consulting at Healesville since 2014. She completed her Diploma in Child Health in 2015 from Westmead Hospital NSW. She was awarded a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2019.
Dr Saumya is an experienced general practitioner and practices in all areas of general medicine, including Chronic Disease Management, Women’s Health, Child Health, Minor Surgical Procedures and Skin Checks and Procedures.

Dr. Dulan Kodikara
SPORTS & EXERCISE PHYSIOTHERAPIST (PhD)
Dr. Dulan is a highly esteemed specialist Sports Physiotherapist with the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) title. With over 17 years of experience, he is a distinguished academic, PhD scholar, and highly skilled clinician.
Dr. Dulan holds a Doctorate in Cricket Injury Epidemiology from Federation University, Australia, and has earned double master’s degrees in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia (UniSA). In 2010, he completed a training fellowship with the Dutch (Netherlands) Olympic and Soccer Medical Teams. His passion for research is evident, particularly in the field of cricket injuries, and he has recently had his work published in two prestigious international sports science and sports medicine journals.
Dr. Dulan's expertise primarily lies in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy. He recently served as the lead sports and exercise physiotherapist for the Galle Marvels franchise in the Lanka Premier League T20. Currently, he is part of the Sports Science and Sports Medicine (SSSM) team at Cricket Australia, where he maintains strong connections with various elite sports organizations. Additionally, he is a Level 1 Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA).
